Shonqualla West - Lead Founder

Shonqualla West is the Lead Founder of Unparalleled Preparatory Academy in Manor, Texas. She is the proposed CEO and school leader. In addition, she is pursuing a Doctoral degree at the University of Southern California.

As a first generation high school and college graduate, Shonqualla knows first hand the struggles students face deciding on a career pathway and the networks, resources, and skill building needed to support students to be successful. Shonqualla truly believes that all students can achieve at high levels. This is highlighted by the work she has done in her career to ensure that students have the access, opportunities, and support they deserve.

Shonqualla was previously a Biologist, Science Teacher, Department Chair, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal of Instruction. She holds a Bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Central Arkansas and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas State University.
